Vintage-Inspired Kitchen

vintage-inspired kitchen

The owners of this 1939 bungalow wanted to replace their dated, 1970s kitchen with a design that matched the classic character of the rest of the home. We kept the design simple and focused on the details - from subtle bands of marmoleum flooring to thoughtful chrome finishes. A balance of white and neutral tones on the face-framed cabinets allows light to move throughout the space. A thin band of black pencil tile adds a dash of modernity while also nodding to detailing typically seen in kitchens of the 1940’s. All of these elements add up to create a kitchen that looks like it has always been part of the century-old home.
